Hi, Ive got a problem and need help.
My 7 month old mini daschund got together with my 6 year old daschund, I know he should not have until he was atleat 2 but hen got thru the baby gate I had up to "protect" her from him, my question is could he have gotten her pregnant? Thank You

Hi Bobbie. Yes, he could've gotten her pregnant. He's at the right age, although it's hard to tell for sure if he's fertile yet or not. Look, when a dog's in heat, they will do whatever they have to to get to each other. I've actually seen dogs breed through a chain link fence. It seems that the smaller breeds do become fertile faster than the larger ones.
