cane corso/italian mastiff heat cycle

i just wanted to know how long a heat cycle last? the female is approx. 10 mths (she is a rescue dog) not sure of date of birth. she has been bleedin,goin on the 2nd week? is that normal?

For females, regardless of the breed, seasons last at least 21 days.  The first part of the cycle is swelling and bleeding.  The bleeding can last 2 weeks.  Once the blood changes to a pinkish color, she is prime for mating, that's when you want to keep her confined and away from the boys.
