update on the lab pregnant by her brother

Hello, Remember me the Owner of the black lab pregnant by her brother, just wanted to thank you for the advise the other day and to let you know that my dog had her puppies yesterday morning, she had 8 puppies and they are beautifull and seem to be very healthty "thank god" She had some chocolate, black and a silver one whish I did'nt know they excisted until I search the internet about "gray labs" I am keeping that one.
Any advise in what to do for the puppies now that they are here? I want to know what is the main thing I have to do before I give them away? I don't want to spend a lot of money since I am not selling them. I just want to give them a good loving home...

Congratulations!  You want to keep the pups until they are at least 7 - 8 weeks old. Have a vet check them over before they go and get their first set of shots.

I always advise against "giving pups away", but ask a marginal amount to ensure the new owners can afford their new family member.
