I've never heard that this particular breed is prone to eating their pups. Some nervous first time moms may accidentally eat one during labor. Just don't allow a lot of people to be in the room with her during whelping, and make sure she has a safe place to have her puppies. You want to make sure you're there during it to make sure this doesn't happen.
