Pug with due date 12/06/07

My pug is due with her first litter 12/06/07.  Just yesterday 12/01/07 she has started not eating or just eating very little.  Plus she wants to sit in her whelping box.  She will dig alittle.  Mostly she just sleeps there.  Today 12/02/07 she is doing the same thing.  When do you think she will go into labor?  She seems very sedate.  Her milk seems to be coming in too but other then not eating very much and sleeping there is not much to report.

Hi Lea. It sounds like she should be going into labor before too long. Watch for her to start panting, and digging like crazy. This part of labor can last up to 24 hours. Watch for her to loose her mucus plug. Labor will usually start within 24-48 hours after that happens. This is the hard part, waiting. She could do this right up until her due date. So, be patient, and good luck!:-)
