sign my dog is in labor

hello my dog has been up allnight whining, has had some whitish clear discharge she is due around now... she has been doing this since around 9 last night and her it is 9 in the morning how long could this go and is she in full blown labor. thank you

Panting, nesting and loss of appetite are signs of labor. Clear discharge is the mucus plug and is a good sign.

If your female is in distress, staining without any result, that's a sign that some action may be required.

What breed is she?  How big is she? How big was the male? How old is she? And is this her first litter?  All play a part in what to expect in whelping.
