What type of breed do I have?

HI I have a one year old yorkie. Yesterday i notice my dog in the back yard barking, so i went to see what was wrong with her and discovered that she was having a baby. Later that day she had four more puppies. Not to mention I didn't even know she was pregnant. My neighbor has a Shih Tzu and he loves to play with my dog when i let her out to play. So I want to know what type of breed do I have. Also, the mother do not want to eat her dog food anymore. What do I give her to eat?

Hi. Not to be rude, but what you have here are mixed breed puppies, simple as that. Many people breed two breeds together to get 'designer breeds', but they're still just plain ol mixed breed dogs. As for mom not eating, you can try to put some beef broth over her food to see if that helps. Also, you can try to add some soft food to her normal food, that usually gets them going. If she still refuses to eat, a trip to the vet is in order to see what's going on. I'd also suggest taking her to the vet fast to make sure she doesn't still have a puppy or placenta inside of her still. If left untreated, it can cause serious infection and even death. A shot of oxytocin will help with this, and will also help with milk production. Good luck, and if I can help with anything else, feel free to holler.
