dog is pregnant

hey, i have a daschund  who might be pregnant and she is very small. well she just went in heat and she mated with a chihuahua. i was wondering if her size will effect her during her pregnancy.  please help me!

A Daschund should have no problem birthing Chihuahua pups.  Make sure you keep your female on a good quality adult food until after the pups are born.  Then you can supplement with a good quality puppy chow because of the higher protein and fat content.
