my dog is 63days now and there is no real sign of her having her pups. we had a scan and they put her at 45days they told me she was having 2 maybe 3 but she is so big now and she has sterch marks the poor thing she is so uncomfortable this is her 1st litter we just dont know what to do for her

You had a x-ray done and they told you that your bitch was on day 45? Do you have a calender with all of the dates of her heat and breedings written down?

If she is on day 63, they can go 5 more days before contractions can start, if they said that there were puppies, and the puppies do not come, you will have to take your bitch into the vet for a c-section.

If she does not begin to deliver the puppies you will be putting her life, and the life of the puppies in jeopardy.

If you are sure of your timeline, then monitor her closely and take her temperature, once it begins to drop, labor and delivery will soon follow.
