problems 4 days after delieverig puppies

my german shepherd age 6, just delievered 9 pups, one died...she seemed to be doing great...vet checked her out 2 days ago and she was good. blood tests came back showing excellant results, except for her thyroid which was very low... she gave her thyroid meds and we have given her two doses...(levothyroxine)

she is acting really strange, panting like crazy and small bright red discharge comes out periodically, its almost stringy like.....
she keeps getting out of welping box and tries to dig in the carpet outside box.......
we are giving her lots of love water food and bathroom breaks outside....
please help, its a holiday and vets closed

Hi Ruby

Did your female pass her afterbirth, where all the placenta's accounted for and did the vet give her a shot of oxytocin to clean her out?

You can add ice cubes to her water and maybe take her for a little walk.  It sounds like she still has some blood to expel.

Also Arnica or Bach's Rescue Remedy will help with her nerves and get her to calm down.
