Question
We have an english bulldog that we actually found. The dog had a chip and we turned him in. The chip only tracked to the  breeder and the breeder said "congratulations you have a free dog" we were thinking about breeding him but we cant afford his papers. Is there a way we can do that? he is a brindle english bulldog

Answer
If you breed him with no papers then you simply have a litter of unregistered pups. Bullies have a lot of health problems, the majority of them genetic., Complete genetic testing is a must for any dog of this breed that is possibly going to be used in that way. They are wonderful, loving, sweet, smart goobers and I adore them. But breeding them is truthfully best left to professionals. They do not free breed, free whelp and very often won't raise their own babies, which as I said are born by section. They are prone to skin disorders, (genetic) and dysplasia as well as heart and eye disorders and many more. Not something you would want to perpetuate and genetic testing is quite expensive. Neuter him, which will prolong his life and make him a happier , much healthier pet.
Enjoy!
Good luck
