When do puppies eyes open and when do they stop breast feeding?

Hi Michelle. Puppies will usually open their eyes at about 7-10 days. They may not fully open until up to two weeks however. Puppies usually nurse up to 6 weeks. By then, you need to start to wean them. Mom may decide earlier that she doesn't want to nurse anymore.
