Question
hello!  I have a female that is 1 year 4 months.  She is very mature and has been holding still for out male.  Is it to young to breed her?  She's a smaller boxer I don't think she is going to get any bigger.

Answer
Hi Brandy. It's best to wait until she's at least 2 years old before breeding her. Even if she doesn't grow much more, she's still puppy like mentally, and needs the extra time to finidh being a puppy herself before having a litter. Boxers are usually very bouncy, and energetic. It'd be pretty hard for a puppy-like dog to be stuck to a whelping box when she'd rather be running around and playing herself. :-) At one year of age, it's kind of like a 15 year old human having a baby, age wise. :-)
