WHEN WILL MY PUG WHELP??

Hi there, i was lucky enough to be given a beautiful pug girl of 4 years. Last weekend i felt something was wrong, she seemed to be getting fatter!! I took her to my vets and said yes definitely pregnant and it will happen sometime this week!! I contacted the person i got her from, and yes, she could be pregnant to a miniature long haired dachshund. He said he noticed her bleeding on the 15th June but doesn't know when they mated or when she came into season. I am very worried as i love her soooooooo much and i'm a real novice at this. Have taken her temperature which is 36.6. Shes leaking milk, puppies are kicking crazy and she wont stop digging! ( Today she hasn't drunk or eat anything)
If you have advice for me as for when it might happen i would love to know so i can start getting some sleep.

Hi. The digging and not eating is a sign of labor. They can do this for up to 24 hours before actually whelping. My best guess is that she'll probably go in the next day or so. If she doesn't whelp by Monday, then I would take her in for an x-ray. Oh, good luck with the sleep.:-) You won't be getting much of that for a while!
