Okay when I decide to breed my dog.  when is the timing right before or when she starts to bleed

You'll need to wait until she enters estrus, the fertile portion of the heat cycle, which typically occurs about 9-10 days from the initial heat signs. At that time, the discharge will have become lighter in both flow & color, more of a pale pink to straw color. She will be your best indicator as to when she's in estrus because this is the only time when she'll allow & even encourage mating. Usually she'll flirt, flag him with her tail, etc. Hope this helps!
