canine bleeding 2 weeks after birth

my dog gave birth to her third litter 2 weeks ago and i noticed that she leaked blood. she has never done this before and  i am very concerned. i am asking if this is normal and if i should still be letting her pups nurse from her. she has a very healthy appetite and is running around. please help

Hi. Most dogs will bleed a few weeks after whelping. As long as it doesn't smell bad, she's not running a temp, and she's eating/drinking fine, then it's probably nothing. Is it bright red blood? I'm not there so I can see what it looks/smells like, so you may want to put a call in to your vet just to be on the safe side. She didn't bleed at all after whelping?
