Question
my dog izzie a small yorkie mix is 14mths old she became accidentally pregnant her first heat and gave birth to 4 perfectly healthy puppies in sept 07 and had no problems. she recently went back into heat and this morning i found her and our toy poodle stuck together he snuck in before the door closed and got her. how dangerous is it for her to have 2 liters in a row and she is in about the 9th day of her heat.

Answer
Hi Ami. You said she whelped her first litter with no problems, and the pups were healthy. As long as you keep her healthy this time, I don't see there being a problem. Not saying there won't be any, but she has a good chance of repeating the first time. Don't let her get fat, don't feed her puppy food, and make sure she gets plenty of exercise. Take her to the vet if any problems arise, no matter how small. I wouldn't suggest allowing her to become pregnant on the next heat. Either have her spayed, or wait for a full year to breed her again. If I can help with anything else, let me know!
