Are Puppies Ok???

Hi, I have a 2 yr old Shih Tzu who is 54 days pregnant today.  She is having two puppies (according to the ultrasound).  I was wondering if I should be able to feel the puppies moving inside.  She is big for a Shih Tzu.  She is 14 lbs (pre-pregnancy) and every time I lay her down on her back I can definitely feel the puppies but I don't feel them move.  Is this normal or ok?  I've never been able to feel them move.  She has gained some weight (4 lbs) but she has been very picky with her food.  I've been having to cook rice and chicken for her and adding it to her daily puppy kibble.

Should I be concerned?  I've already spent over $200 on vets and she only has a week to go so I'd rather not spend any more if I don't have to.

Please advise.

That's a tough call. I'm not convinced that "feeling the pups move" is most accurate way to determine pregnancy.

If it was my female, I would take her in for x-rays and discuss with my vet the options.  

Some females will put on the weight the last week or two.

If she starts discharging a blacky/green liquid I would take her in immediately.
