Breeding my male boxer

Question
What is the right age to begin offering my male boxer out to stud?

Answer
Hi Evans,

Some breeders will use a male as young as 10 months old.  The only problem with that is the male is not fully mature.

Because boxers are known for their low immune system and skin issues, I would wait until at least 2 years old. When the male can mature out.  That gives you an opportunity to have his hip checked and see what kind of issues he may or may not have.

Good luck.
