mating problems

Our male and female golden retrievers are struggling to penetrate and lock, they are both first timers. We live far away from any vets or breeders and we need to know urgently how we can facilitate this union?

You can hang on to the female.  The best is to place your back against the wall and put her over your lap.  Have some one else bring the male around and encourage him to mount the female.  It's your job then to guide the male into the female and hold him in place until the lock occurs.
