my 9 mt puppy went into heat Nov 1st she is a jap chin and i have a male jap chin dog. well i don't no if done anything or not i wasn't home.but i noticed my male jap chin dog was cleaning her all the time. i dint even no she was in heat until i picked her up and noticed she was swollen. now its Jan 15th and her vulva is still swollen and her stomach is fat she has put on  a couple of pounds.i took her to the vet Jan 2 blood work was done and its was neg. does her vulva stay swollen with false pregancy. and is the blood work 100 percent accurate oh and her nips r swollen and shes loosing her hair on her belly.can she still be pregnant and it was two early for the test.

Some female vulva won't shrink after a heat.

Gestation is 62 days, so did you leave the dogs over a course of a few days or weeks?   You would have noticed your male attached to your female.  

X-rays are your best bet to determine if your female having pups.
