Possible pregnancy

I have a female dachsund that had pups in early May I kept 2 of the pups (males) and now she is acting strange and has gotten fat.  I wanted to know if a pup that age can get a female pregnant at that early age?

Hi Andie, and thank you for posting your question.  If your male Dachshund was born in May, that would make him 7 months old and fully capable of producing offspring.  

Just because your female is "getting fat" doesn't automatically mean she is expecting a litter.  I would have her examined by your veterinarian to be sure.
