my female just had puppies

Hi Joyce i have a lapso apso mixed with a miniture pincher that had a litter of 8 with a Coker spaniel.She had them exactly 2 days ago,right now she is at my brothers home with my sister in law whos there all day to take care of them since i need to work.She is stating that she looks really skinny and threw up her food when she attempted to eat.She also says that it looks like she is not producing enough milk. can you please give me some pointers? both dogs are up to date with their vaccinations.

That's a big litter for a small mixed breed.  Have your sister rotate the pups (4 on, 4 off).  Let them have an hour of feeding and cleaning, the replace.  At night they can all go in with the dam.

You may need to supplement her diet with raw meat (organ is best, heart, kidney, liver), and good quality puppy kibble.  She should be fed 2 or 3 times a day.
