Answer
Hi Corina. First, check to see if the pup is cold. Often times the mom will push a pup out if it gets cold. If it is, place it in a box with a two liter bottle filled with warm water. Wrap the bottle in a towel. When the pup gets warmed back up, try to give it back to mom. Check the pup good for any deformities. Check it's mouth. Sometimes mom knows when something is wrong with a puppy. If nothing's wrong with it, and she won't accept it back when it's warmed up, you'll have to take care of it yourself. You'll need a bottle and puppy formula. The most important thing at this age is to keep the pup warm. Don't ever feed a cold puppy. He'll have to be fed every three hours or so. Then, you'll need to 'poop' the puppy. Take a wet paper towel and gently rub the pup's rear. You can also burp the pup. Do it like you would a baby. This is really all you can do. He should catch up to the other pretty quickly. Good luck, and if I can help with anything else, let me know!
