english bulldog puppies

I have a 2 yr old english bulldog who recently gave birth to 9 puppies 3 1/2 weeks ago. I noticed today that she was shaking really bad for about 3 min during nursing. I have her on calcium and she is eating and drinking normally. Also when is a good time to start the puppies on "normal" food?

Hi Cheryl. I'd take her in for a check up just to be safe. Things can go south really fast, so the faster you catch something, the better. You can try them on puppy food soaked in water or formula now if you want to. Try just once a day for now if mom is still nursing pretty good. Good luck!
