pregnant boxer !

Hey there. I have a pregnant boxer who is almost 2. I did not attend to bred her . My 3 year old boxer ate through a door broke a gate and jumped the other gate. Before we knew she was in heat it looked as if he had blood resadue on his penis. I do not know if he bred with her or not. If he did then she would have been due yesterday (march 11) I took her to vets yesterday as well. He said the puppys are big but the first one is huge and she will have issues. For the past 3 days her temp was below 100 but today it was 100.9. She has been having a clear discharge. Is that her mucus plug ? She's showing no signs of active labor though. She pants here and there but goes right back to sleep she has been drinking water and ate food this afternoon. When should I start to worry... I understand she might need a c section but he told us not to do anything untill she's pushed for more than 4 hours and no puppy has arrived. I'm really starting to worry about her and the pups. I do not have the type of money for a c section we have been looking for one that will take payments. Please anwer these if u could

The discharge would be the mucus plug.  Normal.

The panting is her in labor.  DO NOT wait until she is has pushed for 4 hours, you are putting your dam and the entire litter at risk.  You are also going to incur the cost of a emergency c-section.  A responsible vet would have scheduled one at the fraction of the cost.
