Does the number of times my IGs have intercourse affect the number of puppies my female will have?

No.  

Breeders usually breed over the course of a week to ensure pregnancy. It takes 7 days for the eggs to become mature.

A female has all the eggs she is ever going to have and she releases them during each heat.  The number of times does not guarantee the number of pups.  It just gives you a better chance of hitting ovulation.
