Question
I would like to breed out my 3yr old english bulldog. He is AKA registered and beautiful pet. How do I go about doing this and protect him at the same time?

Answer
Hi Rhonda. The first thing that you need to do is to find out what health problems your breed has, and have him tested for them. That way, the pups will have a better chance at being healthy, and more bitch owerns will want to breed to a health tested male. After that, you'll need to advertise. How you do that is your choice. Internet, word of mouth, ect. Make sure every female that is brought to him is brucellious tested, him as well. Make sure every female is up to date on their shots, and wormings. Figure out how you're going to do this. If the female doesn't end up pregnant, are you going to offer a free breeding? And what if the bitch only has one puppy. Will you offer a return service? Things like that. I have a good web site that has sample contracts for stud owners to use. I"ll try to find it for you later this evening.
