chihuahua mix pregnant

Hi, i have a chihuahua mix and she is now 54 days pregnant, i would rub her stomach and feel two puppies kick. One on the right side of her stomach and one on the left, does that mean she's only having two puppies? I'm taking her to the vet next week before she gives birth but i was just wondering if this is an ensure way that she is only having two pups? thankyou!

Unless you have x-ray vision, the whole "feeling thing" is a hit and miss.  The kidney and liver are shaped like a pup and feel similar.

It's a great idea to take her to the vet and have him x-ray her, that way you'll know what to expect and if any are hiding behind her organs.
