just wonted to let you know took pup to the vet last night they cheaked him over he's the same weight as the other 2 8oz and had no major problems apart from the fact his sucking action was'nt there they feed him an now i am going to suplement him but when i brought him home he latched for the first time in 12 hours, so i'm still going to top him up cause he's still a bit hit an miss as to latching or just resting his head on the big pillow,bella seem's to have settled a little but it's still a organised SAS mission to get her out the way so i can get to the pups and me i'm alot less stressed out,an i'm going to enjoy the next 8 weeks.thank's again for your suport i'm sure i will have lots more question's for you in the comming weeks so till yhen take care.

Glad to hear all is basically going well. I had feared the little boy might have a minor cleft palate since he seemed unable or unwilling to latch onto a nipple to nurse so I'm extremely happy the vet examined him to rule out that possibility. LOL And so many people think allowing their dog to have a litter of puppies is fun & easy, right? Little do they know what's involved! I'm so impressed with people like you who truly care & want the best for their dog & the puppies. Hang in there, once you're through the first three weeks things get easier in a sense - not as much worry over the wee ones but a bit more work on your part for cleaning & beginning to introduce the puppies to real food, etc. But I promise, watching them develop makes all the work worthwhile! They're hilarious to just sit & watch play among themselves! So, enjoy it while it lasts & feel free to holler at me if you have any concerns.
