Mating!

Question
I have a Chihuahua who is around nine years old now and another dog bitch similar to the Cockapoo breed who is one year old. Lately, she has been showing signs of wanting to play and mate but the male dog avoids her and doesn't want. What advise can I get in order to mate them. They have separate dog houses, I didn't want to put them together cause I wanted to know whether I should put them together or not.

Wow this is a hard question to answer so I will refrain but doing anything other than answering your direct question :).
If he hasn't been bred before he may not now. If he has. then check her for bleeding and 13 days or so after the bleeding starts when it changes to a light pink color put them together
