Hi. All breeds of dogs have an average pregnancy of 63 days. A few reasons why a dog will go over that is that the dog was bred later than the human thought, the eggs weren't fertilized until a few days later (sperm can live inside of the female for 5-7 days). If the dog goes over 65 days, then you need to call your vet just to be safe. Some dogs have a problem where they don't go into labor, so you need to watch her very carefully after day 65. good luck.
