Dachsy at 65days since breeding

Question
my dachsy is at day 65 and i noticed a small amount of mucassy string when she went potty this morning.
i have been online trying to figure out if she is overdue or what.  one one hand it is said it can take 72 hours for the eggs to be fertalized and that would make her at 62 days.  
am i being over anxious?

Hi. That musus stingie stuff sounds like the mucus plug. A dog will lose this when she is about 24-48 hours away from whelping. Sounds like she may be getting close. if she goes over day 65, put a call in to your vet, he will want to be kept updated. good luck!
