1- What is the recommended age for first breeding?
2- When will she get her first heat? (period)
3- Do i have to wait until her second heat to breed her?
4- All in all, when will i know the time is right to breed her??

  Cynthia

ANSWER: Hi Cynthia

1. A female should have experienced at least her second heat.  Each female is different so you want to make sure she is mentally and physically mature.

2. Her first heat should happen between 6 and 9 months old.

3. It's advisable. At her first heat, she is still a pup herself and how will you know what undesirable traits she has?

4. Your female should be mentally and physically mature.  She should be sound in mind and body.

QUESTION: Someone told me that i would have to wait like 3 days before or 3 days after her heat to breed her.. that she could only get pregnant between those days it that true??

Answer
False

First your female vulva will swell and she will start bleeding.  Typically you count from the first day she starts bleeding and optimum breeding should be between day 9 and 15.  Of course, with each female ovulation occurs at different times.
