Mucus in Stool

Hello,
My mini Schnauzer had quite a long string of mucus in her last (softer and stinkier than normal) stool. She is pregnant but not due for another two weeks. Is this normal? I do not remember seeing it in her previous pregnancy..

Hi Jennie. I would take her in and have her checked for coccidia, just to be safe. If it's not coccidia, then the vet will be able to figure out what's going on. With the pups so close to being born, you need to get what ever this is under control now. Have you changed her food at all?
