How long after the dog has milk will she have her puppies?

Answer
All dogs will vary somewhat as to when lactating is evident versus when whelping will occur but usually it's safe to assume it should be within a week. Some will develop milk just a few days prior while others may show signs of milk almost 2 weeks prior -- the variances have to do with hormones, obviously & also whether or not it's her first litter, her age, general health, etc. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
