Question
I had a question previously about my yorky's pregnancy because I could not see or feel anything at five weeks. Now she has between ten and fifteen days (according to the mating date)to deliver, but I am getting a little nervous because: she has gained weight, her nipples are bigger, she has some milk if I squeeze, but one day I will softly touch her tummy and it is big and the next day it seems smaller or not as extended? When I touch her I do feel some movement. I've had four deliveries before but their bellies have been big and full at this time.? She is very normal, eating very well, and I am giving her the vitamin every day also. Have her whelping box ready but have not introduced her to it yet. Please help with your answer. thank you. Her mate is less than half her size.

Answer
Sara if you've had four pregnancies, then you know that each one can be different.

If you are not prepared to do x-rays then you have to do the old fashion method which is just wait and see.

There is nothing I can tell you.  She may have a singleton, she may be having a false, she may have have a dozen pups in there.  Okay, so she probably doesn't have the last one.  But the point is, all anyone can do is guess what's up with your female unless you take her in and get some concrete evidence and then, you can truly know what to prepare for.

Good luck
