Mating problem

I tried first time breeding my lab female over several days to no avail. She had a partial tie on the 13th day but she pulled off of the stud after maybe 1 minute. They never had a tie after this. We tried from the 9th to the 15th days. Is it possible that my female has something wrong with her?

Answer
It may be possible that she either ovulated earlier in her cycle, or later than was expected. On her next heat, you want to have progesterone testing done on her just to be on the safe side. It doesn't hurt to take her in for a quick check up either. She may have had a simple infection that can be cured very easily.
