female boxer - no heat

I have a lovely 20 month old boxer girl who is not spayed and has not gone into heat.  I would love to have one litter of pups in the future but am afraid she may not be able to.  Do you know why she hasn't had one ... or if she still might?

I had a female that didn't go into heat for the first time until after she turned two years old. After that, she only went in once a year. I had her half sister, and she didn't go into heat for the first time till she was 18 months old, and went into heat about every 8 months. It can happen. If it would make you feel better, you could always take her into the vet for a check up. Good luck!
