bonding

Hello our bichon had her first litter yesterday via emergency c-section. She is feeding the 6 puppies well, however what is the best way to help her bond quicker as she will not lick them, clean them etc?

It usually takes 24 - 48 hours for the meds to wear off the dam. Once they have left her system she should be fine.

Sepia and/or Arnica is available at any health store in liquid or pill form.  I prefer the liquid.  A couple of drops of arnica will help with the internal bruising and the sepia helps with bonding.  I've used both with great success.
