Answer
Well, it could be a number of things. It could be because of mom's age. Because she is so young, her body may not have been able to produce healthy puppies, or maybe she's having a hard time producing enough milk. It may because the puppies were inbred. Inbreeding in itself is not a bad thing, but if you choose to breed this way, then both parents must be top quality in both health, conformation, and temperment. This is because when you inbreed, both the good and the bad qualities come out more readily than if you breed two dogs that aren't closely related. Your dog's may have a genetic flaw somewhere. It may not have ever shown up before, but when these two dogs who have close to the same DNA paired up, so did the DNA, causing some kind of health problem for the puppies. Or, the pup's may have herpes, a very common problem causing death in the new born. I would highly suggest that you take mom and puppies to the vet. If mom has an infection of some kind, that could cause the puppies to get sick from nursin on her. Take them all in to get checked out just to be on the safe side. That's the best thing I can tell you to do. If I can be of anymore help, let me know!
