Question
hi renee
bonnie my yorkshire terrier gave birth to 2 boys, they are doing well.the fist born is smaller than the secord born.at what age do i start to ween them.they are 23 days old.many thanks dave

Answer
Hi David. If mom is taking good care of them, and has plenty of milk, then I'd wait until they were about 4-5 weeks old before starting to wean them. However, if mom doesn't have much milk, or doesn't want much to do with them, then you can start them at 3 weeks of age. Good luck!
