QuestionHello, I have 2 questions. I was reading a post you wrote saying it is ok with siblings to mate with the same dad right. Well i have 2 Great Danes. Same mom, different dads. Is that a ok breeding or stay away. Also what is a appropriate age for a male to stud? Thank you

To clarify, I always say it's okay when there is in no genetic defects in the lines. Any issues that are present in the lines will come out tenfold in the off-spring, so keep that in mind.
The breeding will produce some very nice pups, put you there will also be some "duds". Pet quality pups is what I mean by duds.
I think a male should be at least 2 years old. By that age any inherent defects will start to show itself. Especially with the larger breeds like Danes that don't have the longevity, have heart disease and HJD, I would wait and make sure that the breeding is going to improve the breed.
