brown from nipples

I also asked you a question today about my female husky about her
being breed and having so bleeding afterwards.  I promise..I will leave
you alone after this. I have just finished checking my dog and one think I
forgot to tell you is that she just started having a false pregancy about a
month ago. Why so late after heat...we don't know but my vet said she
was ok. So she goes back in heat...still having milk from the false
pregancy that hasn't dry up all the way(think my male was sucking on
her...I think so tell you the true(his only 1yrs old). Well I was scratching
her stomach and her nipples squrted some brown stuff on me.  She still
has milk come out to but some times its milk and then all sudden it
brown colored. Is that normal?  Or is that a infection or something
wrong?

Hi Jenny --

The first thing I would do is have her thyroid checked.  It appears that her cycle is out of whack.  

You need to separate your dogs.  She needs time to heal and recover.  Sometimes with mastitis a brown liquid can appear.  Keep her on antibiotics until she is completely healed and do the test.
