dog miscarriage

i have a yorkie 7 months old given to me when i got her she was in her first heat my toy poodle got to her first thing she was due to have puppies next week but this past wed she had a pup it only lived 12 hours she would not feed him and he looked like he should not have come out that early he would not suck bottle my question is she is full of milk do you think that was the only pup or should i be on the lookout for more next week she does not feel like there is any in her .

Hi Delores. i would suggest that you take her in to the vet for maybe an x-ray to see if she has anymore puppies left.  A dog won't wait a week to finish whelping. If there is a puppy still inside of her, and she doesn't whelp it, then it can make her very sick. I'm sorry it happened to your girl.
