HELP!!

OK WELL MY BOXER WENT INTO LABOR LAST NIGHT WELL THIS MORNING AT 2AM, THEN SHE HAD HER FIRST PUPPY AT 4:33AM, THEN SHE DIDN'T HAVE HER NEXT ONE UNTIL 6:32AM.. I'M NOT REALLY SURE BUT WE WERE EXPECTING MORE.. WE ALSO THINK SHE IS STILL HAVE CONTRACTIONS.. IS IT POSSIBLE SHE HAS ONE STUCK IN THERE??

Hi Whitney

What you need to do is with clean fingers, insert your finger up into her vulva.  If you can feel anything you may need to help her get it out.

You can also help things along by talking her for short walks, this can reposition the pups and help with the birthing.  Try giving her vanilla ice cream to help with contractions.

Did you do an x-ray to find out if she's expecting more, or are you just assuming she has more pups?  

Typically time  between pups is 2 hours, although they can come sooner or later too.
