Pregnant Bitch

I have a mastiff cross bitch who is showing no sign of labour. She is 60 days gone and is not nesting nor off her food. She has always been a sook so there has been no behaviour change. There is no milk in her teats but she has mucous coming out her nether region, which might I add is HUGE. This is a first litter for both of us so I;m flying blind. There is however a x-ray confirmed count of 14 pups. How long will it be before she starts to whelp?

A bitch can be pregnant 10 days past the normal gestation period of 63 days. The longer she goes after the gestation date, the longer you risk that something happening to the pups.

I would suggest that you take her in to get examined by a veterinarian.
