Hi i contacted you before about my pregnant chi. Her second pregnancy in a year. she went into to labor last night and we saw the puppy last night coming out but in the next minute it went back in and then an hour later the water satchel came out and busted. today she has been pushing and i am very worried plz help me do i need to take her to the vet or what?

Hi Sarah

You need to take her to the vet immediately.  If the pup is stuck and has been detached from the wall since last night, chances are it's dead.  Not only that pup, but any pups that might be behind it have a greater risk of mortality.

The vet will perform a c-section to save the dam.
