bitch mated young

my pug bitch is 11mths old and my pug dog has mated her it was my fault should i take her to the vet to get her cleared or is it possible for her to pup at this age.
advise me as soon as possible please

Hi Steve -- the only problem with the "morning after" pill for dogs is that there is a chance that your female will never produce another litter again.

Depending on her temperament, I would let it go, however that being said, some Pugs are known for ignoring their litters.  Keep that in mind and be prepared for the eventuality that you may be hand raising pups.  It may not happen, but it's always good to be in the know.
