Question
I have been bottle feeding 4 lhasa/maltepoo/bichon mix puppies because mom developed eclampsia at 11 days. They are now 21 days old. How many times a day should I continue bottle feeding and how often offer the weaning mixture and when should I start?

Answer
Hi. At three weeks of age, I still bottle feed them at least three-four times a day. You can try to feed the puppy food and see how they react. Offer it to them twice a day at first, just to see how they do. They'll most likely waist more than they eat at first, and you'll still have to bottle feed for another week or so, but it will give them the idea of what they're suppose to do. When you get them completely off of the bottle, you can feed them puppy food three times a day.
